Push the button on top of Thomas, and he will start repeating phrases from the books and TV show: "Number one always comes first", for example, then Bertie might reply "I'm Bertie Bus" or some other such comment. A seemingly simple concept, this range of toys has surprising mileage for youngsters: four under-two testers who were introduced to this range wouldn't put them down for weeks and insisted on augmenting their collection. But be prepared to send them to an understanding relative or friend's house, as they don't come equipped with off switches.
