Ease of construction for the Fire Tender has been well planned, being broken down into stages, each bagged separately. Clear diagrams guide you through the stages and this means even the youngest of the five to eight recommended age group will be able to try following the pictures, although adult supervision may be needed for some of the smaller parts. Imaginative play allows the fire team to come alive, racing through the streets, siren sounding, to attend a warehouse fire. Once on scene, raise the lift and send up the fire fighter with fire hose to tackle the fire. Kit out another fire fighter in breathing apparatus, and send him in to break down the doors with his axe and free the trapped people. The set includes three fire fighters as well as tools, hoses, walkie talkie and breathing apparatus-everything that is needed to ensure there is always a happy ending to each story!Used on its own or alongside its sister set (the station and further rescue vehicles) it really offers unlimited enjoyment. -Mandy Wood.
