Review LEGO Star Wars 7146: TIE Fighter / LEGO 7146:How do you make a Star Wars fan very happy indeed? Simply present them with a LEGO TIE Fighter. An impressive but utterly achievable kit, the TIE Fighter comes with step-by-step, piece-by-piece instructions which means that initial construction takes up to half an hour, depending on skill of the builder. The Imperial forces themselves would be impressed with the sleek look of the craft, with its distinctive shape in stylish black and blue LEGO. The large cockpit window opens easily to reveal the pilot, who can be a choice of the two included LEGO figures, a TIE Fighter Pilot or a Stormtooper. The TIE Fighter may look delicate, but in actual fact it is quite robust and the wings clip on and off easily. The most impressive aspect of this set is that the Fighter comes with a sturdy stand to assemble so that once made the fighter can become part of a Star Wars collection. The terminal building features an automatic baggage handler, departure room and information boards, and there is a control tower built on top with radar and excellent all round views.
