Speed, style and handling are always important in a car, and the Pedal Audi TT from Berchet has them all and is perfect for the youngster who has it all. The TT measures 1. 1m (just over 3. 5 feet) in length, and weighs in at 7 kg (about 15lbs). It arrives boxed and the only assembly required is to fit the steering wheel, back spoiler and wing mirrors-all of which screw in easily and safely (full instructions are included). The pedals are the traditional mechanism and will give your children a good work out in the garden. This model was a bit of a stretch for the youngest of our testers (aged three), though they did like the compact style and lightweight handling and soon got the hang of the controls. The optimum age for this model is therefore around three to four years. The Audi TT was tested on carpet, in a room with other similar cars, and sustained the odd knock and bump; however, the superlative quality of the plastic and trimmings meant it was completely unnoticeable and finished the test drive without one service, looking good as new.
